The real fur in the tin is leather doubly.  The surface material is the Finnish Deer Skin, which is wonderfully soft and durable. Mountain material from sheep's fur.
A high-temperature and young combination, as fur is the warmest of the mountain materials and lasts longer than a multi-blooded woven wool or merino wool mountain.

The leather has been treated to repel water and dirt.
